Impetus: This advertising
agency was invited at the last minute to compete for the account
of a prestigious nationwide insurance company. This was welcome
news – except that the agency was already preparing presentations
for three other prospective clients. With time running out and
a very limited budget, the agency turned to InSighting Ideas to
help provide direction.
Insight: In less
than one work week, we interviewed a range of company and
competitive agents around the country to assess their perceptions,
summarized marketing implications, and indicated opportunities
for growth.
Impact: Armed with
our observations, the insurance company was blown
away with the agency’s insight into their agents
and the competitive environment. On the basis of the agency’s
market understanding alone, the client awarded
their account to the agency the next day.
